Premiere Raleigh Moving Company – 919-875-1700

A smooth moving experience is all anybody wants who is relocating to a new home. Shopping around for movers can be a tedious task, but choosing the right mover is extremely important so you must hire movers in Raleigh carefully! Fortunately for those planning to move, online review sites such as Yelp make comparing local professional moving companies in Raleigh easy and convenient. Your Raleigh moving professionals here are devoted to earning every customer’s seal of approval, and reviews like this one below (from a customer we moved to Richmond Virginia!) prove it!

I highly recommend All My Sons for anyone planning a move, be it across town or, as we did, another state.

DH and I received quotes from three different companies. By far, the presentation made by the All My Sons estimator was the most professional presentation we had ever seen. It was exceptionally thorough, well documented and included customer references. One thing that I found very compelling was that their moving crews are full-time employees of the company, not day laborers picked up a job here and there, and I would have the same crew doing my loading and my unloading.

The price quote, which was a “not-to-exceed” number, unlike most companies, was 27% – 40% LESS than the others. At first, I thought it might be too good to be true. But we checked out their references, reviewed their documentation, and verified them with the Better Business Bureau (where they received an A+ rating). So we selected them.

I am happy to say the moving crew was as professional and thorough as the estimator. They took good care of my things and were very efficient with their time.

I would absolutely use them again.

Builders of Hope is a non-profit organization that seeks to transform into homes that are both affordable and eco-friendly. Based in Raleigh, the group has a breakthrough project entitled “Extreme Green Rehabilitation” that seeks to create homes that are sustainable on half as much energy as new construction homes.

By making homes more eco-friendly, they are also less costly to maintain. Lower usage of electricity means lower utility bills, quite frankly. With so many houses sitting vacant and in need of repairs, it seems sensible to repair them in a way that also maximizes their resources and makes them an example among their neighborhoods for energy conservation.

Builders of Hope offer services that the Raleigh movers can believe in. By cutting back on carbon dioxide emissions and lessening air pollution and landfill surplus, Builders of Hope are truly seeking to make the country greener and more energy efficient–beginning right here in Raleigh.

Currently underway, the American Mortgage Conference is taking place in Raleigh this week. Among issues discussed thus far at the conference, one strikes particular interest that the Raleigh movers wanted to share with our friends! According to industry experts, now is the time to refinance your home mortgage. The average rate on a 30-year fixed mortgage is about 4.12 percent–the lowest it has been in decades.

Among the credible speakers at this week’s conference, lending honchos from Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae spoke yesterday. There are several things to consider before refinancing–such as what term length you’d like, what interest rate you’d like to get down to, and how it will affect your day to day finances. Knowledge is power, so ask away!

Morrisville North Carolina goes against the grain when it comes to city development; rather than moving to the local area after the city’s population grew to a favorable size, many businesses set up shop in Morrisville beforehand, which many residents benefit off of. Companies such as Cisco, IBM and Lenovo are among the big names which have headquarters in Morrisville. Well-known for its higher-than-average concentration of scientists, engineers and computer technicians, Morrisville businesses such as these have truly set the stage for a techy population. In fact, high-tech employment opportunity has drawn talent from all over the globe to move to Morrisville! The diversity among Morrisville’s population probably inspired events such as the “Taste of Morrisville” festival which celebrates the many cultural dishes of local area eateries.

Here at the Raleigh movers we are taking Hurricane Irene very seriously, and we hope that you are too. Despite the fact that Irene has been downgraded to a category two storm does not mean that we should all rest on our laurels. For the protection of our loved ones, we must all make sure we’ve prepared for what could still do damage to the Raleigh area and the rest of the Atlantic coast.

With winds still estimated at 105mph, the recently downgraded storm could certainly pick up steam again as it hurls through the Atlantic Ocean. The storm is expected to hit the North Carolina area over the weekend, most likely Saturday.

Hopefully you’ve stocked up on batteries, canned foods, bottled water, and first aid kits. Portable fans are also a great investment to keep around for hurricane season. Windows should be boarded if you don’t have hurricane shutters, and utilize your garage to the best of your ability to protect automobiles and bicycles.

Also, if power does in fact go out, it wouldn’t hurt to have puzzles or board games readily available.

We wish the best for you and your loved ones. May we all weather the storm here in Raleigh!

This fall, Raleigh will celebrate the 46th Annual Parade of Homes by showcasing over 200 homes throughout Raleigh-Wake County. The tour is free, and it will focus on home trends specific to the Research Triangle Area. In keeping with the technological times, the Parade of Homes has created a smart phone app to help you access the Parade as you go.

Here at the Raleigh movers, we are always excited by the home developments and innovations that are showcased at the Annual Parade of Homes. The awards ceremony will take place prior to the open house, so you’ll be able to see what ranks as gold, silver, and bronze among all of the impressive new homes.

The price range of the homes on parade is quite broad, from $156,700-$2.4 million, and range in type from single family homes to condos.

Where will you be on Friday, September 16th? Your Raleigh area moving team will be enjoying delicious authentic Greek food at the Annual Greek Festival at the Exposition Center within the State Fairgrounds. The Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church will be whipping up scrumptious Greek recipes from scratch amidst the dancing and live Greek music. Proceeds from the festival will be donated to Habitat for Humanity of Wake County. Prepare yourself for tasty food, live music, and lots of dancing. It will be loads of fun, and for a good cause! Sadly not all of your Raleigh movers will be able to attend, many moves are scheduled for that Friday, so if you want to really please your movers feel free to cook up some Greek dishes so they can get a taste of what they’re missing!

This year’s “Top 10 Places to Live for 2011″ list from RelocateAmerica has been released, and Raleigh is nestled prominently at position #4, just behind Austin, Texas; Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Boulder, Colorado. The list examines a variety of factors pertaining to an area to determine what city in the United States is the best to live in. Such areas as real estate & housing, local economy, recreation, and safety.

Of course, citizen opinions were taken into account as well, as the surveyors too to the streets to ask locals what they thought and what they liked/disliked. The Raleigh movers feel that we should have easily placed at #1! But we aren’t complaining, because not only are we in the Top 10, we are also in the Top 5! And that’s certainly something to be proud of.

If you are contemplating a relocation to Raleigh, be sure to check out RelocateAmerica’s reasoning for why were a great place to live, and don’t forget to contact All My Sons of Raleigh for the best moving rates and specials.
